Intimate Partner Violence
Called by many different names (Domestic Violence, Family Violence, Domestic Abuse, etc), Intimate Partner Violence is prevelant all over the world. Many men, women, and teens have been involved in abusive relationships. All abuse is not physical, much of it is emotional, verbal, mental, and economic.
Abuse Is: Calling bad names or putting someone down
Shouting and cursing
Hitting, slapping and/or pushing
Making threats of any kind
Jealously and suspicion
Keeping someone away from family and friends
Throwing things around the house
At AidevO People Consulting we assist those individuals dealing with Intimate Partner Violence. PLEASE NOTE: If there has been an arrest, the offender should attend a State of Georgia Certified Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP). The counseling offered by AidevO People Counsulting should NOT be in lieu of FVIP but rather as an addendum to or a follow up.
